All prosperity begins in the mind and
is dependent only upon the
full use
of our creative imagination.

Fate
often puts all the material for happiness and prosperity into
one's hands just to see how miserable one can make oneself with
them.

When I chased after money, I
never had enough. When I got
my life on purpose and focused on giving of myself and
everything that arrived into my life, then I was prosperous.
Wayne Dyer
Prosperity
depends more on wanting what you have than having
what you want.
Geoffrey F. Abert

If
we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not
sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.
Anne Bradstreet

Human
prosperity never rests but always craves more, till
blown up
with pride it totters and falls. From the opulent mansions pointed at by all
passers-by none warns it away,
none cries, "Let no more riches
enter!"
Aeschylus

Everything in the world may be
endured except continual prosperity.

The
word prosperity comes from the Latin root which literally
translates
“according to hope” or “to go forward hopefully.” Thus it is
not so much
a condition in life as it is an attitude toward life. The truly
prosperous
person is one who is experiencing what Jesus referred to as the life
more abundant. Prosperity is a way of living and
thinking—not just
money or things. Poverty is a way of living and thinking—not
just a lack of
money or things. Considered in the broadest sense, prosperity
is “spiritual
well-being.” This involves the whole experience of healing life,
satisfying
love, abiding peace and harmony … a whole creature in a whole
universe.
Eric Butterworth |

We've got the most prosperous
culture in human history and we've
also got the biggest spiritual hole in
human history. People are saying, "I
can't fill the hole with money. I can't
fill it with alcohol, or drugs, or sex,
so what do I need to fill it with?"
Mark Victor Hansen

The
old thought that one cannot be rich except at the expense of his
or
her neighbor,
must pass away. True prosperity adds to the richness
of the
whole world,
such as that of the person who makes two trees grow
where only one
grew before. The parasitical belief in prosperity as
coming by the sacrifices of
others has
no place in the mind that
thinks true. My benefit is your
benefit, your success
is my success, should be the basis of all our wealth.

One
is not rightly conditioned until one is a happy, healthy, and
prosperous being; and happiness, health, and prosperity are the
result
of a harmonious adjustment of the inner with the
outer of the person with his or her surroundings.
James Allen |

It's
God's will for you to live in prosperity instead of poverty.
It's God's will for you to pay your bills and not be in debt.
Joel Osteen |

Prosperity is the touchstone of virtue; for it is
less difficult
to bear misfortunes than to remain uncorrupted by pleasure.
Tacitus |

Prosperity
is only an instrument to be used, not a deity to be worshipped.
Calvin Coolidge |

There
cannot be a sense of abundance or the experience of
prosperity
without appreciation. You cannot find beauty unless
you appreciate beauty.
You cannot find friendship unless you appreciate
others. You cannot find
love unless you appreciate loving and being loved.
If you wish abundance, appreciate life.
William
R. Miller

The
human race has had long experience and a fine tradition
in surviving adversity. But we now face a task for which we
have little experience, the task of surviving prosperity.
Alan Gregg |

When you are able to shift your inner awareness to
how you can serve
others, and when you make this the central focus of your life, you
will then be in a position to know true miracles
in your progress toward prosperity.
Wayne Dyer |

We should not
forget that it will be just as important to our
descendants to be prosperous in their time as it is to us
to be prosperous in our time.

Prosperity
suits some people, and they blossom best in a glow of sunshine;
others need the shade, and are the sweeter for a touch of frost.

Ultimate
prosperity is one's value within. It takes a person of depth,
morality,
and charm to be envied yet without a sign of wealth or romance. A
passion
to prove such inner worth is one's permission to achieve whatever
one desires.

The danger of
prosperity is that it encourages a false independence.
William Barclay |
|
My prosperity
is closely linked to the prosperity of those I serve.
When I stopped worrying about my own prosperity and began
working actively and intelligently to increase the financial wealth
of others, my own income began to increase. The rule is easy
to
understand: when I offer a product or a service that truly
contributes
to the prosperity, well-being, and happiness of others, I am
rewarded.
But I must be able to ask myself what the real motivation is.
I must
devote all of my energy to offering things that contribute truly to
the
growth and enrichment of others. Today, I am entirely
committed to
making others more prosperous and this is the source
of my satisfaction and my success.
