Uncertainty Breeds UNcalm
Carol James

Uncertainty breeds UNcalm.  When we feel uncertain about the future or an outcome, we tend to feel unsettled, anxious, edgy or worrisome.  But how do we release the uncertainty?  Start by asking yourself these questions:

Do I doubt that I will get what I want?
Do I doubt that I deserve to have whatever I want?
Do I doubt that my creation is already launched and waiting for me to become aware of its existence?
What do I feel uncertain about?

The universe has no choice but to deliver to you what you want, provided you purely vibrate your desire.  This "purely" thing can be hard to understand, and even harder to do.  What it really means is that you absolutely KNOW that what you want already exists and will become your experience the moment you realize that you already have it.  It's at the door, waiting for you to open the door.

Uncertainty, doubt, impatience, or fear keeps the door closed.  Here's an example:   Have you ever been looking for something you've lost -- a necklace, wallet, keys, etc. -- but can't find it and in frustration let go of looking for it, and in the next moment you find it?  If you look too hard for something, your eyes will deceive you into believing that it isn't there, but the moment you stop looking for it, it magically (or so you think) appears right before your eyes.

If you spend your time waiting, watching or looking for the manifestation then what often happens is that you become aware that it has not yet arrived, which increases the doubt and uncertainty.

The very nature of waiting, watching or looking infers that you do not believe that it is already done, and you are looking for validation that it is really still coming.

For instance, have you ever noticed that a trip always takes twice as long to get there as it does to get home?  Have you ever noticed that the things you want the most take the longest to get (or don't come at all)?

You put the most attention on the things you want the most (always seeing your lack of it), so they never get released to the universe to become.  Being in a state of wanting always keeps you in a state of wanting.  You get EXACTLY what you ask for: wanting.

So, what is the solution?  Once you have visualized what you want with sufficient clarity, detail and confidence, shift your attention to something else that feels good, that you appreciate or your next creation.  Or, if appropriate, take whatever action may be necessary to move the creation forward.

That feeling of void between what you have left behind and what you are waiting for only happens when you sit and wait for your manifestation to appear, while noticing that it has not yet come.

Your job is not to visualize, wait, wait, wait, get it, okay, next creation.  It's about create, appreciate, enjoy, create, enjoy, appreciate, appreciate, create, create, create, appreciate, enjoy, enjoy, enjoy, create, enjoy, appreciate . . .  The added bonus is that life's a heck of a lot more enjoyable in the meantime.

Yes, life can be mysterious and confusing--but there's much of life that's actually rather dependable and reliable.  Some principles apply to life in so many different contexts that they can truly be called universal--and learning what they are and how to approach them and use them can teach us some of the most important lessons that we've ever learned.
My doctorate is in Teaching and Learning.  I use it a lot when I teach at school, but I also do my best to apply what I've learned to the life I'm living, and to observe how others live their lives.  What makes them happy or unhappy, stressed or peaceful, selfish or generous, compassionate or arrogant?  In this book, I've done my best to pass on to you what I've learned from people in my life, writers whose works I've read, and stories that I've heard.  Perhaps these principles can be a positive part of your life, too!
Universal Principles of Living Life Fully.  Awareness of these principles can explain a lot and take much of the frustration out of the lives we lead.
