One of the most inspirational movies of all, this is the story of the strange relationship between an 18-year-old who's obsessed with death and the 80-year-old woman who teaches him to be obsessed with life.  A great movie with a great message.

A classroom assignment leads a young boy to focus on helping others in a way that will spread beyond himself in ways that he'll never know.  A nice story about the spirit of giving and ways that we can help others who need it.  While the script and ending are flawed, according to most reviewers, the acting and dialogue are great, and the movie definitely makes us think about the idea of giving unselfishly to others and the effect that it could have if we were to do so.

Another movie with a flawed ending, as the last third of the film undermines the message of the first two-thirds.  But the message of the first part is extraordinary, and well worth watching as the lessons that Robin Williams gives to the students are extremely inspiring and leave the viewer with a great feeling.
